Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA) Teammates gathered recently at the Red Rock Casino and Resort in Las Vegas for their 2016 Annual Leadership Meeting.   SCA company values are not just slogans or words on the wall, but are truly at the core of everything they do and who they are.  ALM provides SCA teammates an opportunity to gather together, spend time learning, sharing, growing and honoring those who are an outstanding example of the company values.

TRG has partnered with SCA over the last three years to bring ALM to life and make it a fun, engaging and productive meeting for all attendees.   In addition to managing the onsite meeting, TRG produced more than 20 videos in the months leading up to 2016 ALM to help educate, inspire and set the tone for the event.

“TRG has been a terrific partner to SCA — helping to ensure that our meetings are well-planned and flawlessly executed, which are vital to creating an exceptional experience for our teammates and building our culture.”

– Andrew Hayek, CEO Surgical Care Affiliates

The 2016 ALM featured General Sessions and Breakout Sessions focused on aligning professional values with personal values.  While professional development is a big part of the sessions teammates attend, one tradition for ALM is a fun evening of skits and activities.  For 2016, SCA launched the SCA Games, an Olympic themed afternoon and evening of team building games and competition.

The SCA games kicked off with an Olympic style opening ceremony and parade of flags.  Each business group created a unique flag to represent their team.  Flag bearers for each group were teammates being honored at the event for being a Values Hero.

To help bring the Olympic theme to life, TRG went on a cross-country journey to create a video of teammates passing an Olympic torch across the country.  The video ended with SCA COO Michael Rucker taking the flame to the Red Rock Resort and running into the ballroom where the torch was passed live to CEO Andrew Hayek.  The crowd was on their feet and filled with excitement as Andrew ran to the stage to light the Olympic flame and declare the SCA Games open.

Following the games, teammates gathered for a fun evening of entertainment and trivia, hosted six SCA MC’s.  TRG produced two parody videos for the evening event and managed the interactive trivia competition that allowed teammates to use their Smart Phones to answer SCA related questions.

ALM 2016 was a great experience for SCA teammates and TRG was proud to be their production partner.  We’re looking forward to ALM 2017!
