People have been gathering since the beginning of time. As social beings, we crave interaction with others. Major life events from birthdays to graduations to weddings are celebrated with others in gatherings large and small. We find joy in connecting with others through shared interests or experiences. Those connections can and often do lead to innovation, new ideas and processes.
We, like so many of you, look forward to a return to in-person events. We understand the responsibility we have to create a safe environment for attendees as well as our crew. The Pandemic On-site Protocol Certification course presented by the Event Leadership Institute provided a wealth of information upon which the protocols for TRG were developed. Our protocols cover crew health and safety as well as attendee seating arrangements and traffic flow within meeting areas.
As we have all learned over the last few months, virtual events come in a variety of styles. From casual Zoom gatherings, to full green screen sets with pre-recorded video presentations and much in-between. It can be daunting to navigate the options and understand what the best options are for your team.
Happy New Year from TRG! Much has been said already about 2020 so we will not dwell on the past but rather look optimistically to the future. In 2001, we began our journey as an event production business in our previous organization which in 2013 became TRG Meeting Partners. We have seen many changes, advancements, and innovations in event production over the last 20 years and are excited to see where the industry is going. TRG will continue to innovate and drive advancement as a company as we move into the future.
You know TRG as your meeting partner, but did you know we also specialize in video productions?
2020 has been a challenging year thus far and being grateful has been difficult. However, happiness stems from gratitude, and this time of year we reflect on those special things for which we are grateful and we are certainly grateful.
Revelstoke Capital Partners knew that their annual investor meeting would need to be virtual this year so they contacted TRG Meeting Partners to create a plan to bring their vision to life! Their event included pre-recorded presentations from their portfolio companies across the country as well as updates from executives and teams at their Denver headquarters.
Virtual events have been filling the TRG calendar with three back to back events in September and more in October. There are many ways to produce a virtual event and TRG customizes them each to best meet our client’s needs.
MPI recently shared an article discussing some of the issues of returning to live events. The biggest concern was human nature. After many months of separation, we want to connect, we want to shake hands and share hugs. This will be the initial challenge facing event professionals. TRG is here to help navigate your challenges and help you create a plan for returning to live events.
